The aim of the management program is to offer high quality education to young Saudis. It provides students with the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, and ethical orientation to contribute and play meaningful roles in the business functions of organizations they will work for in order to meet the needs of individuals, employers and the community at large. The management program prepares students to face new challenges such as globalization, new technology and importance of diversity to deal with real world business situations. The Saudi population is dominated by the younger generation with about 54% below the age of 18 years and there is a growing demand for high quality education, particularly among middle class parents.
The management major is concerned with the study of the changing needs of the markets and customers and meeting those needs with quality products and services that satisfy them better than the competitors. This demands qualified employees and managers who are capable of implementing best practices, optimizing resources, increase productivity and efficiency, providing the effective decisions, building the strategies, and implementing policies that are geared towards achieving organization goals, objectives, and gaining competitive advantage
