Saad A. Alshihri, PhD

Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Biography:

Dr Saad.is currently an Assistant Professor at Computer Engineering Department, College of Engineering and Architecture at Al-Yamamah University (YU) Khobar.

With a Ph.D. and Master’s in Computer Engineering from Sogang University, South Korea a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from BPCS, Saudi Arabia. His career includes roles as a lecturer at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Assistant Professor at Onaizah Colleges, where he was the head of Computer Science Department. He has also worked as an OT/ICS Cyber Security Engineer at Samsung Engineering, South Korea. Contributed to research in Blockchain Security where he worked at the Blockchain Center, South Korea. He served as a Research Student at various research laboratories at Sogang University. In the beginning of his profession career he used to work as Network Security Operation Supervisor in IT department KFHJ, Saudi Arabia.

His research interests are P2P Security, Blockchain Security and ICS Security
